About the videos: the other day Mia had diarrhea & I said, "Oh, you have diarrhea" and she repeated "diarrhea"! Then Chris said, "Diarrhea, cha, cha, cha." and of course Mia copied him! It was soooooooo funny! Here are 2 video of her saying "Diarrhea, cha, cha, cha!" =)-

Mia's new favorite way to "dress" is a diaper & shoes! (Well, she really prefers to be naked , so this is her 2nd fav way) =)-

We have a video of Ethan (Mia's cousin), which Mia loves to watch. In the past month or so she has been re-enacting the Ethan video. She will get a pacifier, sit in her bouncy seat, drop the pacifier, say-"Oh dear, dropped the dum-dum", fake cry & then put the pacifier back in her mouth. It is really funny! Hehehe!



It's amazing that just by listening Mia uses plurals, possesives, -ing, of, & the.

Soon we will be playing volleyball together! Woohooo! =)

Time is going so fast & Mia is doing soooooooo much! Here are some Mia stories & pics-enjoy! =)

Mia likes to take off her diaper & has even done so during the night! She also only wants to wear Ernie diapers...anyone want to trade for Ernie diapers? ;)

My dad (Papa) calls Mia & I "darling" & when we saw him a couple of weeks ago Mia started calling Papa darling too =) "Hi darling" or "I love you darling"

During dinner Mia does not like to sit on her highchair for a long time, so we have been encouraging her to sit with us while the rest of us eat. To hurry us along Mia goes around the table and declares that we are all done too: "All done Mia, all done Mommy, all done Daddy, all done Tony & all done Nona".

Mia sometimes calls her Daddy "Hali" which is what I sometimes call him =) Hehehe!

Mia noticed my collar bone and wanted to know what it was. When I told her that it is my bone she immediately said, "Bone for puppies?" "Um, yeah, kinda, but puppies eat different bones." I replied. A couple of minutes later she brings all her stuffed puppies to eat my bone! Hahaha! It was really funny & a couple of times she pretends she is a puppy & "eats" my bone too.

Mia loves our new housemates- Tony, my mom (Nona) & Colby Jack (her dog). She calls Colby "Polby" and feeds him bones =)

Mia & I "made" & decorated a pinata for Cino de Mayo =) Then I put a couple of her favorite treats in the pinata, we hung it outside & Mia whacked it! She has alot of fun-next year we are getting a real pinata with candy!




I told Mia she was pretty & then she said, "Aria pretty, Hannah pretty, Lauren pretty & Mommy pretty" So sweet!

Mia likes to stack things, here is a subtle hint that she would really, really like some blocks...(and that I really like ice cream & go a bit crazy when it is on-sale) ;) Oh & she does have blocks now.

While Aria's Mommy was giving birth to Chanson, little Mia & Aria took it easy & watched a Nigh-night movie.

18 months!

We cannot believe that Mia is 18 months! This 2nd year is going way too fast!
Just a few updates:

Mia calls herself "Mya" =)-

Mia asks us to toot on demand- "Daddy, toot!" "Mommy, toot!" Hahaha!

Mia is a gatherer, she gathers all of the same toys or objects & then carries them around.

Mia wants a puppy so bad, that the other night she exclaimed puppy in her sleep & then panted like a puppy two different times! Hehehe!

Mia is talking up a storm & constantly repeats everything she hears. She has a cute little voice! ;)

Mia is learning to share & the other day she wanted the highlighter I had (if it was washable I would have given it to her), but I told her it was for Mommy's only. Mia looks at me & says, "Share, Mommy, share!"

Mia has been sitting on the potty Alot lately, but surprisingly has not pee or pooped. And once she took of her diaper & sat on the potty! We read magazines together while she sits on the potty =)

While we were outside once I was showing Mia flowers. She picked one & gave it to me so I put it behind my ear. Now everytime we go outside she picks me a flower to put behind my ear & picks one for herself & sticks her flower INSIDE her ear! Hahahaha!



One morning I woke up to, "Oh, Mommy. Uh, oh. Oh, my" I found Mia holding my glasses in two pieces! She had snapped off one side! Hahaha! It was a funny thing to wake up to.

Mia has been saying "Thank you" all by herself!

Mia tries to dress herself & can get her pants & shoes on! =)

Dream come true!

Mia likes to burp & comfort everything! From her stuffed animals, Daddy, Mommy, slides, books and food-anything really! Hehehe!!
She fakes a cry & then comforts whatever she is holding. Then she will pat the person, animal or thing on the back & fake a burp.
Since Mia's most favorite thing to comfort & burp is her baby, her ideal burping & comforting situation would be to help a real baby! So, our friends who just had a baby boy (named Chanson) let Mia burp him! She was so excited & still talks about it!
