Mini-Mia update!

Wow, 3 posts in one day! Oh yeah! =)- Mia has been repeating words constantly & adding them to her vocab. It's really adorable to hear her repeat words in her little voice! ;) Also, Mia has a new cousin- Ethan (who she calls "E-uhn")- yay!
During the week while Chris is working Mia goes to top of the stairs (which is blocked by a baby gate), grabs the gate bars & yells '"Daddy! Daddy!" It's super cute!
Mia takes her baby everywhere we go & takes great care of her. Sometimes Mia calls Chris- "My Daddy". =) Mia likes to "read" to us-hehehe! She prefers to not wear a diaper & if I don't put pants on her Mia will try to take her diaper off (usually she is successful!) Freedom! Ha! ;) Mia has been trying to dress herself! Mia likes to pretend she is typing on our laptop & if we don't "help" her she can make alot of changes! ;) When Mia gets a boo-boo she wants me to kiss whatever she hurt & then she is all better! She still does her "camera smile" when she sees a camera or when we are taking her picture. =) Mia loves to play with her friends, especially Aria (Mia calls her Ra-ra). Mia asks to watch Ra-ra videos from Aria's blog & pretends to talk to "Ra-ra" on the phone. Mia tries to sing the ABCs & sings "eee-i eee-i!" from Old McDonald.

Tummy drummin'

Mia drums on everything! I wonder where she gets that from? (Hali!) ;) Mia's Daddy is a drummer & so he drums on everything too! Very cute to see the two of them drumming. Here is a video of Chris & Mia tummy drumming. Watch Mia's arms, as she drums she throws one arm in the air- what a little show-woman! ;) She started doing this on her own! Chris is mimicking her arm throwing in the video. Hehehe! =)

Ernie, Bert & Elmo!

Mia is on a BIG time Sesame Street kick! Hehehe! She really likes Elmo, Bert & Ernie & asks to watch them many times during the day. ;) She sings "La-la-la" (from Elmo's World) & then pats her head & rubs her tummy like Bert & Ernie (from her favorite song that Bert & Ernie sing).

We got Mia an Elmo shirt for next winter, but we let her wear it now. And she wanted to wear it 3 days in a row! (Don't worry I washed it in between wearing). Hehehe! =)- These are pics of her watching Sesame Street

Little girl or baby?

When Mia says "little girl" it sounds like her turkey sound! ;) But she really means little girl...

(This video was taken a couple weeks ago) Here is Mia reading to her little girl & then she starts repeating what I ask her to say. Very cute!!

Walking in Mommy's shoes...

Mia really likes shoes & recently she has started to put on our shoes & walk around! She actually is able to walk surprisingly well in our shoes! Hehehehe!

16 months already??!!

Mia is 16 months old! =) She is saying more words, can say some letters & recognizes shapes too! Her personality is showing itself more & more, it so amazing to see it develop! Mia can say "no" & understands what it means. Needless to say, she is really good at communicating what she does NOT want to do! Hehehe! ;)
Her molars are coming in & they are painful for her- we hope the rest of her teeth come in quickly!
Mia likes to color, sing songs, dance, learn, finger paint, go to the park, visit daddy in his office, go running with mommy, do puzzles, take care of her baby, ride in her wagon, play with her friends, read books, kick & bump balls & of course spend time with her mommy & daddy! ;)
She is a busy little girl, always on the go!
Chris & I are so blessed & thankful to God for our little girl. The love we have for her doesn't even come close to the love God has for us! Amazing! I can't even comprehend that....
