Yay for summer & Elmo sprinklers!

Summer is here! =) We had so much fun playing in the Elmo sprinkler! Yay for hot sunny weather, you gotta love Texas! (And I was super excited to get Mia into her new swimsuit!)

Thanks Daddy for getting the sprinkler set-up! =)

Posing with Mommy (who is also wearing a hat so Mia isn't the only one wearing a hat!)

What comes out of here? Hehehe! =)-

"Raff" (giraffe) wanted to play too!

I really am having fun! ;)

Visiting Daddy at work after sprinkler fun! So cute! =)

Kite flying!

Let's go fly a kite up to the highest height! Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring. Up through the atmosphere, up where the air is clear. Oh, let's go fly a kite!

Here are some pics of Mia & her first kite flying experience! =)

Happy Easter! He is Risen!

I hope everyone had a good Easter & remembered what Easter is really about.
Here are some pics of a mini petting zoo & our Easter weekend. Enjoy! =)

Mia had so much fun petting the adorable bunny!

Of course Baby had to pet the bunny too! =)

Amazingly no bunnies, baby ducks or chicks were harmed in the making of this pic! =)-

Mia just wanted to look at the train, not ride it! Hehehe!

More bunnies!

Easter pics!

Posing with Easter gifts from Nona & Yia yia!

Mia was "showing" me where her knees are with her markers! Hehehe! Thankfully it washed right off! ;)

Who knew how much fun a pecan picker-upper could be! =)-

Mia's memory always amazes us- When we go to the grocery store & Mia sees Cheerios she says "Daddy, Daddy". (Chris eats Cheerios for breakfast sometimes). I told Mia two different times that my mom's favorite flowers are pansies, now whenever she sees pansies she says "Nona, Nona!" Mia has seen her Uncle Tony where a hat, & last week we were in a store & she say a hat similar to Tony's & she pointed at it & said "T-t-t" (she calls Tony T-t-t). Mia does NOT like going to the doctor & as soon as we get into the elevators to go up to the office she starts crying (I don't know how she recognizes those elevators)! =( Mia recognizes Aria's house from the moment we pull up front! One of Mia's friends (Hannah) was wearing a striped shirt at home group, then two days later Mia got her striped shirt & was walking around saying, "Hannah, Hannah". Mia's other grandma has a house across the street from us & Mia recognizes it too- "Yia yia" Ok, last brag story! ;) Over Easter weekend Mia had a mini Easter egg hunt. I put stickers, gold fish, crunchies & a mini Ernie toy in the eggs. As she found each egg we would open it so she could see what was inside. After she found all 7 eggs, she grabbed the blue one & said, "Omenit (open it), crunchies, crunchies!" We were amazed that she remembered which egg had the crunchies in it! =)

Here are some pics of the past two months! Enjoy!

Mia knows how to eat guacamole!

Aria wants Mia to be a pumpkin! ;)

Here are some pictures from the last couple months...

Aria & Mia- BFF's

Mia's rocking chair =)

Every time Mia wore or saw this bear "outfit" she would growl like a bear! Very cute! Hehehe!

Happy 17 months, Mia-roonie!

What, don't you look like this after you eat blueberries?

Very excited for a stroller for her baby! Yay! =)

Decked out for the Super Bowl! Go Steelers!

Mia is 17 months old! Here are some fun things she has been doing & some pics-enjoy!
Recently Mia started to say "uh-oh", but she says it when she does something on accident or on purpose! Hehehe! She also says ,"Boo!" & then wants us to yell- "Ahhh!" If we don't then she will remind us with a example "Ahh"!
When something amazes Mia she says, "Woah!"
Since we live in the Great state of Texas we have been able to play outside off & on since January. Mia really likes to play outside. We play with her water table, walk/run around in the backyard, on her slide or at the park.
Mia likes to practice doing a somersault & she is close to doing one on her own!
Mia gets soooo excited if her friends are coming over or if we are going to see them. She knows Aria's house by site & yells "Ra-ra" when we pull up in front of Aria's house! Mia has 2 sippy cups that Aria has & when Mia drinks out of them she signs drink & says "Ra-ra" (she is just reminding me that she has the same cups as Aria) ;)
